Rola Dbouk

Graduate Student

Rola Dbouk joins the Wisdom Group with an interest in planetary science. Her recent work involved the study of spin-orbit dynamics and Cassini states in planetary systems, the Earth-Moon system in particular. Dbouk earned her BS and MS in Physics from the American University of Beirut. 

Research Description

Rola Dbouk is a Planetary Science graduate student in the Wisdom Group. She studies spin-orbit dynamics and long term tidal evolution of planetary satellites. She is also working with the Perron Group  to explore the implications for planetary climate. She earned her BS (2017) and MS (2020) in Physics from the American University of Beirut where she graduated with the Best Thesis Award.
