Samuel Goldberg

Graduate Student

Sam Goldberg is a graduate student in geology. He uses numerical modeling and observations of the present world to understand how Earth’s surface drainage has changed over geologic time and to reveal the processes that may have occurred in the portions of past landscapes no longer preserved. He also studies the climatic setting of early animal evolution using clumped isotope paleothermometry, to explore linkages between climate changes and the timing of evolutionary pulses.
