Victor Hugo Almanza Veloz

Postdoctoral Fellow

The focus of my research is on using chemical transport models and energy analysis tools to investigate the impact of SLCFs, mainly black carbon, on future climate, public health and crops. As part of the activities, I use meteorological and air quality data from monitoring networks and satellites with the aim of evaluating model performance at several spatial and temporal scales. My research interests include computational combustion oriented to soot formation modeling, non-linear time series analysis, data mining and inversion problems with meta-heuristic algorithms.
