Samuel Bowring Robert R. Shrock Professor of Geology Samuel A. Bowring was awarded the 2016 Walter H. Bucher Medal at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting Honors Ceremony, held on 14 December 2016 in San Francisco, Calif. The medal is for "original contributions to the basic knowledge of crust and lithosphere."

Received the Paul G. Silver Award during the Fall 2016 Meeting of the American Geophysical Union, a joint award of the Geodesy, Seismology, and Tectonophysics Sections. READ MORE
