Getting Back into Nuclear

It’s the first new U.S. nuclear reactor in decades. And climate change has made that a very big deal.

Kerry Emanuel tells the Washington Post introduction of the new reactor is "a big step forward for clean energy, and we really have to be pushing that as hard as we can for the sake of the climate -- all sources of energy, which includes nuclear."

Also quoted in the article, Allison Macfarlane PhD '92, a former chair of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and now a professor at George Washington University.
