The Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences presented a symposium in honor of our late friend and colleague Professor Edward Lorenz on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, 136 Irving Street, Cambridge. The event featured scientific talks by three prominent colleagues of Dr. Lorenz, personal reminiscences by friends and colleagues, and an afternoon concert.
